Plug Socket Issues

I was watching tv in bed last night and there was a loud pop and then the tv went off. After checking it was'nt a power cut I figured out some plug sockets have stopped working.

I've checked all the fuses (old style wire fuses) with the multimeter and they are all fine.

The strange thing is some are working upstairs and some are working downstairs.

Kitchen - All Work
Dinning room - All Work
Living Room - 1 works 2 don't
Office upstairs - All Work
Spare bed room - only 1 double, does'nt work.
Master bedroom - 2 doubles both don't work.
Loft- 1 double only, does'nt work
Garage - 2 doubles both work.
Hallway - 1 single, works fine.

All other circuits are working (oven, lights etc)

Anyone got any ideas?

Can you confirm if this circuit is a ring final or radial?
What fuse rating at board, how many cables terminated at fuse?
