Plyboard under tiles

Hi

I have been told that I should Prime the Plyboard before fixing tiles to the Ply. is this correct information?
or is it ok just to fix the Tiles to the ply?

Check with the supplier of the adhesive that you are going to use as my understanding from other posts is that it varies according to manufacturer.

Have a look in the tiling section.
