Police officer attacked with a sledgehammer and gets a fractured spine...

Its actually quite worrying that there are people out there who cannot see busting the door down with a prison van and running around threatening people with sledge hammers, resisting arrest etc is not something to be locked up for.

Assuming they got 18 months - they'd have been out after 9 anyway. they've been held on remand that long and at least a few will face a retrial.

You mean like the British justice system, British jurors, British barristers lawyers and QC's, and the British law?

Would you prefer shariah law?

In some instances / cases yes sharia law would get my vote ;)

As for the 12 jurors ( fruit cakes ) they should be arrested and charged with gross negligence / deriliction of duty

You can't pick and choose, trans. One or the other.

That's what all fascist dictators say, when they see a verdict, election result, law, they don't like. Have you thought about moving to one of your favourite third world shítholes?

Smashing a van through doors and fracturing a police woman's spine with a sledgehammer.
FFS they should have all got 5 years minimum.
5 years???
The sergeant suffered a broken spine, that will hurt for the rest of her life, trust me.
The MF should've been convicted of attempted murder and sent down for 30 years.
As regards the man who hit the policewoman with a sledgehammer. What defence, if any, did he use.
He said he was defending the other terrorist.
There must've been leftists in the jury, terrorist supporters of the third kind.

How these charges didn't stick is beyond me. Nothing short of an armed raid.

at least they got tasered
The MF who broke the sergeant spine should've had his own spine broken.
