POLYORC PLASTIC PIPING

IN THE MIDDLE OF A KITCHEN REFIT , SEEMS MY FLAT IS PLUMBED WITH POLYORC PIPING, BUILT IN THE MID 70,S , LOOKING FOR AN ADAPTOR TO GO FROM 17 MM O/D POLYORC TO GOOD OLD 15MM COPPER, IT MIGHT BE EASIER TO FIND THE HOLY GRAIL! PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP...?

the plastic pipe is now so old it is very brittle especially near the joints .i have managed to buy the joints as the piping is still used in the chemical industry.i
it is better to use a compression joint if you can,the trouble is you have to wait 24 hours before the solvent is stong enough to put mains pressure back on.
 
Isn't Polyorc and the like 16mm OD (for nominal 3/8" size)? I've got some 16mm compression fittings (as used in France!) for such stuff.
