Hi.
Laying travertine in 3 rooms,
Room 1. 37sqm, 75mm sand cement screed over polypipe ufh system.
Rooms 2 and 3 both 25sqm, floor base will be polypipe 18mm overlay system.
Polypipe technical have said I can tile directly over the overlay boards??????
Can anyone advise on the best practice for tiling ontop of the overlay board, as im not so sure polypipes advice is correct.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, I layed Polypipe overlay boards about 5 years ago in a 27ft x 14ft kitchen at home. Once you have glued the boards together and layed the pipes. Just tile straight over them using flexible adhesive. Job done. It really is as simple as that.

Thanks mate
Can I ask what kind of tiles you laid.
Ps how have the overlay boards worked out, ie do they give a nice heat in the room.
Thanks again
