Hi,
We've had our garage renovated recently, which included a self-levelled concrete floor and polyurethane paint finish. It's been down for a few weeks now and still looks great but we've been looking at some DIY sites that state the floor should have been ground with a concrete grinder or acid etched before the paint went down.

Neither of these occurred. The polyurethane was applied directly to the smooth self-levelled concrete floor. A concrete sealer was used prior to painting.

Do we write to the contractor now and get it sorted? In the meantime, with winter approaching, what is likely to happen if we don't get it sorted?

Thank you.
