Poor Carol Vorderman?

Carol Vorderman has quit her job on Countdown. Oohhhhhh.... Instead of being paid £1.5 million a year, her salary has been cut, to a take it or leave it £150.000 per year. She is not a happy bunny anymore, although, she can still earn money from the loan company she advertises for, where she tries to encourage people in financial difficulty, "where life is passing them by" to take out a secured loan against their house, knowing that if they cannot repay the loan, they lose the roof over their head. ...... They'd swap with you any time Carol.

I saw her on that "Who do you think you are ?" TV show and she comes from an extremely poor background. Wouldn't you think she'd avoid the loan shark ads like the plague?
