hi all just wondering if anyone can give me some advice as of what to do. i have just finished a bathroom at my uncles house, last job on the list was to install the mixer shower ( which he wanted instead of upgrading the existing electric one) . ok its all installed but has hardly any pressure. he wanted something quite powerful and at present its worse than the 7.5kw shower i removed. Now he has a combi boiler and the cold is tank fed from the attic. i was under the illusion that a combi provides enough pressure for a good shower (well it certainly does in my flat) but this one does not . the mains pressure in is high. i have also noticed that there is still a hot water tank in the airing cupboard , i need to make this shower much more powerful and was just wondering if anyone could tell me what my options are. i was thinking of installing a pump but know that they cant be installed with a combi. and another question . doesn't having a combi boiler eradicate the need for a hot water tank. just wondering if the plumber who fitted the combi only ran the feeds to the kitchen and the rest still runs off the tank. please help this is really embarrassing for me lol i need to get this sorted and am back to work monday . thanks benn
