Hi ,
Ive just had my new range cooker wired in , and am about to build my kitchen units around it .

The guide recommends a gap of 10mm between the cooker and units to allow removal . Just thinking this sounds a bit much , could I get away with a bit less ?

Also when fitting the glass splasback (900mm x 700mm) do you leave a gap to the top of the cooker , and how much silicone would you use to attach it ?

Any tips gratefully received . :D
