Possible to extend wire to shaver socket?

I need to move a shaver socket in my bathroom which is in a stud cavity. But the wire falls about 50cm short. Is there a way to extend this? I have the cavity open at the moment and hasn’t been backer boarded yet.

Use a maintenance-free junction box.

And the cable route must be a vertical or horizontal route to/from the new location. No hidden dog legs in the cable route.

Go to your favourite electrical supplies website and search it for “maintenance free”.

The same as the cable you’re extending, probably.

That depends on the size of the fuse/MCB that protects the circuit. If it’s a lighting circuit it’s probably a 6amp CPD. 1mm T&E cable would be fine in that case.
