I don't rate Rod on his mellower ballads. Always thought he was better belting out Maggie May, etc. Or this one for Highway -

Rod has had a great run of singles over the decades, I love most of them.

'Gasoline Alley' is a favourite. Elkie Brooks had a hit with it also.
