Back to Slade....Slade was brilliant. Their most rockingest songs were 'Gudbuy T Jane', 'Coz I Luv You' and 'Mama Weer All Crazee Now'. As far as I can tell, Slade were not involved with drugs in a big way, unlike most other groups of the time, and guess what? They are all still alive!

My favourite footage of Slade is this one from the German TV show 'Musikladen'. They are playing live here and they are perfect...

A friend of mine is a professional guitarist, he is absolutely brilliant and has played many big gigs with massive bands. He was playing with Slade a few years ago and did a tour around Germany with them. He is now playing with T rex, I love both bands and so whenever he is home I always end up in some bar with him and sometimes the band members. Have met loads of big names through him. I have been offered positions of being a body gaurd and a rodie with him. Obviously never taken anything up but I have a bit of a connection with both Slade and T Rex through my friend.
 
I will give my mate a bit of a plug but he certainly doesnt need it. Just for interest really of music lovers.
