'Lola' is a song about a man dressed as a woman, and the blonde in the 'Sorrow' video is Amanda Lear, a man dressed as a woman.

'Sorrow' was from Bowie's LP 'Pin Ups', which was an album of Bowie singing some of his favourite songs from the 1960s; songs by the Kinks, Yardbirds, Pretty Things etc. 'Sorrow' was first done by The McCoys in America, and did nothing until the Merseys, with their Liverpudlian lilt, made it a British hit...
