I did enjoy hearing the Kinks's 'Lola' and Bowie's shimmering 'Sorrow' but, pop pickers, does anybody know what links the 'Sorrow' video with 'Lola'?
 
'Sorrow' was from Bowie's LP 'Pin Ups', which was an album of Bowie singing some of his favourite songs from the 1960s; songs by the Kinks, Yardbirds, Pretty Things etc. 'Sorrow' was first done by The McCoys in America, and did nothing until the Merseys, with their Liverpudlian lilt, made it a British hit...

 
Always used to like the Johnny Cash version but in recent years I've warmed to the Joe Brown version.
