I'm not a Beatles fan.

I grew up with the Beatles, the soundtrack to early birthday parties would be 'I want to hold your hand' and 'she loves you'. My first ever LP that me mum bought me as a birthday present from the Littlewoods catalogue was 'Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band'.
I stopped listening to them in my early teens, in fact from that point on I pretty much hated them.

It wasn't until I was in my thirties that I saw the film 'Let it Be' and the rooftop scene just blew me away, I was staggered at what a great rock band they were.

When I first got my acoustic guitar I was playing lots of different styles on it but I was a bit lost as I used to play rock and metal on my electric, then Lena bought me a beatles song book for my birthday which had every piece of sheet music that they had recorded in it. I fell in love with the beatles music and adapted all of the music for acoustic material. Now it's mostly all that I play, I play it at partys and gatherings at friends houses and it never fails to get everyone singing and enjoying themselves.

Just to add that is across all age groups too which is incredible. One young girl in the office had a party a few weeks ago and she asked me if I would bring my guitar and play for her, out of everything that I played it was the Beatles that got them all dancing. The Beatles music is in my opinion completely ageless and enjoyed by everyone. Anyone who doesn't rate them I urge you to take a listen to them again.

The only Beatles songs I really like are Help, Let It Be and Hey Jude.

Great songs, I play all of those. When I get my greyhound I am going to set up a you tube account for it and its progress in training, I will play a few Beatles classics on my acoustic and I bet you will like other Beatles tunes too.
