Was never a fan of Neil Young till later in life and realised what I was missing. He has a voice that is both fragile but strong and clear. And he squeezes incredible melodies out his chord progressions.

I liked him in The Young Ones but never keen on his music.

Booker T and The M.Gs were the studio backing group on countless American soul hits of the 1960s. As a group in their own right they made some of the grooviest instrumentals, such as 'Chinese Checkers' from 1963...

Fell in love with this bad boy after seeing Withnail for the first time.

Withnail has the best use of music in any film I know! Every piece fits in just right, especially the 2 Jimi Hendrix songs.

Did you read the story of King Curtis? He was murdered. Played sax on many 50s hits.

The drummer of the MGs was murdered also!

I bought his greatist hits album after seeing the film but never really read much about him. Very cool music.
