can anybody shed any light, i have a potterton 24 boiler and its acting in a bizarre manner, it used to heat up no probs and would get the house nice and warm, now it seems that it fires up for a few minutes then sits in rest mode, it seems (stupidly) that the "allowable temp " has decreased, is there anything that this total novice can check before getting in the big guns, and is there a switch, button or thermostat that i can turn up to allow the heating to get hotter
