I have just been to a Potterton Performa, only 18 months old, Customer compalined of a loud screaching noise. investigated, found that the system had no water in, tried to refill, got soaked!! Low Water Pressure Switch P*****G out water, to add insult to injury it did not even detect low pressure and as a result the Circ pump has failed as well!
So the Very part that is supposed to save the day, caused the leak and didn't save the day either Potterton? Stick em

what low pressure switch
I think he means the pressure gauge or rather the connection into the hydraulic block

Only thing i can think of to but trying to workout how this is meant to save it. Has he got right boiler
Sorry guys, it was a potterton but a Promax Combi..I see so many broken boilers they all merge into one 
shyte boilers avoid like the plague
