Need advice how to replace leaking automatic air vent which is on top of the Grundfos circulation pump, the vent looks to screw into the top of the pump but need to know if there is any problems doing this or will I end up with a bigger problem?. I have found price for new air vent about £12 but have been given a price by a plumber to supply and fit of £120 which seems a lot. In the new year I intend to replace the boiler but need it to last till then as money is tight.
