potterton prt2 to plumb centre stat

My prt2 is on its way out and there is no direct replacement for it. Plumb centre sold me one of their models, EHE0200155 but the wiring appears to be different. before i get in there could someone advise me on whether they are compatible and if so what the wiring arrangement would be.

Is there a wire linking Com(2) and TL(4) on the existing stat?

If there is a link, you can use the Plumcenter stat.

If no link, the Plumbcenter stat is not suitable. You will need a volt free stat.

If you can use the Plumcenter stat, wire as follows:

PRT2 ------ Plumb
TL(4) ----------- 1
N(5) ------------ 2
H(3) ------------ 3


If you can't use the Plumbcenter stat, get a Honeywell DT90E.

Yes there is a link. there is an option on the plumbcentre stat of 2 different terminals, 3 or 4. The diag says
Terminal 3: 10(3) A max, Terminal 4: 6(2)A max.

What does this mean.

Use terminal 3, not terminal 4.
