Hi all, have a problem with my Potterton Puma 80e.
The red led mains indicator on the front user panel does not illuminate thus the boiler does not start.
Have checked the 3amp fused spur supply and is OK. Followed the wiring through to the mod board all OK. Also checked the internal T2A fuse on the modulation board and is OK. Have checked the rear of the modulation board for dry solder joints and have reflowed a couple that may have caused a problem but I would suggest unlikely as they were not that bad. The fault finding section of the manual suggests replacing the mod board completely.
Is this correct ? Has anyone had a similar problem and the fault turned out to be something else ? Don't really want to spend £150+ on a new board only to find it does not solve the problem.
Thanks in anticipation. KD
