Morning!
We have had this problem for years now, no doubt system will be out of warranty, but just havent done anything about it as we cant afford to call anyone out.
When you switch on the heating it fires up no problem.
When you switch off the heating and turn on hot water instead, nothing happens, not even a flicker of the lights. The red light doesnt flash or anything, it is just completely dead. You then have to leave it a minimum of 20 minutes, turn the water off and back on, then the system will fire up. Most of the time it comes on for 2 seconds then cuts back off again. Then you need to go through that whole process again until it finally fires up and actually stays on. Once it's on its usually ok, but it is just so annoying that we cant get hot water when we actually need it, you always have to have a good couple of hours spare to do the on/off thing over and over again.
I just dont understand why turning the water off would trigger the system to fire up!
Has anyone else had the same problem??
