50 litre LOL has someone stuck an engine in it?

The worst case is that your gas valve is stuck open. Turn the gas off underneath or at the meter for now. If this is ongoing right now you could have a potentially dangerous situation on your hands.
Hopefully when you get it checked out it might just be an electrical fault but treat it as dangerous for now
