Hi all, this is my first post so go easy on me!
I will be re-doing a bathroom of a house we have just bought and am in the process of planning out what I want to do.
I'm looking to fit a right hand L-Shaped Showerbath in there and have a shower mixer fitted which is going to run off a power pump (Stuart Turner Monsoon).
I've been doing a lot of reading on installation and have got to thinking about the waste side of things.
My question is this : Would a standard 40mm bath waste trap and pipe be enough to cope with the volume of water that will be produced by the shower?
The waste pipe will travel straight down to the main waste and will be under 3m (will be about 1.8m).
What's the general thoughts / idea's on this?
Thanks in advance!
