HI ya, I have a problem with the water not heating up enough, the water gets mildly warm and stays at that heat constantly (though not enough to enjoy the shower). Was thinking it either the thermostat or the heater.

The unit is a Trinton T80si and is only about two and a half years old.

That model isn't a power shower, its an electrically heated one. (Power showers take both hot & cold water and contain a pump to boost the pressure).

Most likely one of the elements has failed. There is no thermostat.

Options are replace the heater can, or more likely, replace the entire unit.

can be a faulty element or first choice would be a faulty outlet tco.

check the outlet tco for burnt wires etc and also continuity.

Thanks Guys,

I end up replacing the unit, as it looked like it was the heater can. As there is only about 1.4 to 1.7 bar pressure thought best to replace as i think i may affected the unit over time... Plus probably a bit of a build up in the unit.
