Hi all, having major problems with my recently installed power shower. Ever since it was installed, the pump would sound like it was kettling, in the pump. Have had plumber round who increased the size of the inlet from 15mm to 22mm. The pump is located close to the cylinder.

Any ideas what I can do next. The pipe work from the top of the cyclinder, is elbowed, in 22mm copper and is T'eed with the pump inlet attached.

Any ideas what I should look for next. Cyclinder stat is turned to 50 deg.

Many thanks

No phot's I am afraid, the pump is a Wickes twin impellor pump. Thining of fitting a Surrey flange, and take the hot water feed from that instead of of Ting further up the pipe work. Do you think this will make a difference. Many thanks

what size pump is it ?

yes i would always take the hot supply off a surrey or essex flange
prevents air being draw down the vent pipe.
which is poss what yours is doing.
