Power Shower without Power

Dear All

For no obvious reason our power shower has lost power. I have changed the 5 amp fuse for a supposed new one - witthout any effect.

The pump and fittings are less than 2 years old.

Any advice and assistance welcomed.

5 amp?

i take it then that this is a mixer shower from the boiler with a pump?

try another fuse...

look in the consumer unit ( fuse board to the un-initiated ) for a breaker that is off, or a fuse marked shower..



( please excuse any incoherencies or spelling mistakes, i'm half way down a bottle of wine... )

Monsoon 3 bar twin (pos head) brass shower pump

We have tried several 5 amp fuses - don't know where to go from there. Trying to resist caling an 'expert' in.

It seems it had been nosier than usual recently??
