Powering Pond Pump CU

Is it ok to power a pond pump control unit straight from an outdoor lighting weatherproof box using flexible cable? The WP box is supllied by SWA from the house from a DP FSU. The flexible cable would run from the WP box under the decking to the other side and the Pond Pump CU is secured to the Decking fence. Or would i have to use SWA?

no.

swa is desigend for outside use, you can kick it and give it some abuse (should you so desire) and it will still work, flex wont
