We have a garden shed fed from the house with SWA cable to an RCD and MCB box. This then feeds an internal light and 2 sockets.

There is a second run of SWA which connects via a metal box for Earth to a small run of flex on and a plug which powers an external plastic box. The external box is fitted to decking and has 3 switched outlets which were used when we had a pond. The pump, filter etc entered into the base of the box and ran to the pond and only used the standard rubber type cable from the box to them.

If I was to wish to install bulkheads on concrete fence posts, could I use that switched box and what type of cable could be used? the box is on a decking based raised border containing plants and fear that someone may put a shovel through the cables. The could allways be fitted around the perimeter of the box above soil level.

Any help appreciated.
