You can buy simple plug in devices called repeaters, I have one and it can be used in three ways.
1) LAN cable in Wifi out.
2) Wifi in and LAN cable out.
3) Wifi in and Wifi out.
With the latter careful positioning is required, basic half way between main router and the device you want to use, I use LAN cable in Wifi out and it is opposite end of house to router so anywhere in house or garden I can use Wifi without any need to inject any signals into the power cables. I think it cost about £14 from Lidi it was not expensive.
