Powermax 155 leaky blending valve

Hi

I have replaced my blender valve - p757 and it works a treat so thanks to everyone with your advice.

Now it is leaking. Jesus when will this nitemare end.
Any ideas ? Its not leaking too much but enough, on the topn and bottom pipe.

Shall I call in a plumber ?

Ive turned the water off on the stopcock.

If you managed to replace it I am sure you could manage to drain it off and get some PTFE tape round the threads
 
if you had not started a new thread and actually read the comments made on the original posting (5th post page1) you would have read put jointing compound on / don't overtighten

if you don't follow the instruction given things invariably go wrong - best advice don't take on jobs beyond your capabilities.

I got a plumber round in the end, best be safe ! I wont be touching a boiler again.
It fitted fine. But the temperature isnt great still. Is there a way I can increase the water temperature ?

Thinking about throwing the bl00dy thing out !!
