powermax 155 Whistling

Can anyone help, I have a Powermax 155 about 9 years old and its started to whistle when the burner is on, it does not matter if its water or heating.

The noise starts about 2 minutes after it ignites and stays on until the burner goes off, the noise can also be heard outside.

I had the gas valve changed about 18 months ago in an attempt to rectify a fault which ended up being a faulty electrode, the burner gaskets and the PCB were all also changed at the same time.

Do I need a Powermax specialist and if so can anyone reconmend one in the Walsall area

Try heateam, the manufacturers repairers, should be able to help.

there was a recall on the gas valve on one of the Powermax models i seem to remember.

this may be of help or i may just be whistling in the wind.
