I have a Powermax 155 combi boiler made by IMI waterheating (who no longer exist) and i have a problem that i need help with.

The radiators are on constantly even when the programmer says its not.

The pump still pumps hot water to the radiators in the toilets which are like saunas in the summer.

There are no thermostats on these radiators so we just have to put up with it.

I have been told that this is a fault with the programmer.

Is this the case and how can i get hold of a new one because IMI don't exist.

Cherrs for the help

Potterton bought the Range Powermax range of boilers off them so any problems You could call them

Also sounds more like the relay to the pump has got stuck

and fitting an external programmer on these is not easy ;)

Depending on what type of property you live in , the 155 should be fitted with a anti-gravity valve fitted on the heating flow pipe to stop gravity circulation when heating not on. This is refered to in the installation instructions.
