Ok..I have a radiator that i have just put on in the kitchen after redecorating..the one side pipe leading into the valve which screws onto the rad has slightly bent :(
Must have slightly twisted it when removing the rad :(
I think it is slightly leaking from the pipe to the bottom of the valve, so I need a small section of pipe to replace it.
I can see you only have to heat the pipe for it to come away for a new section in the shape of an L bend.

So I thought at the same time i could fit a thermostat valve as it gets quite hot in the kitchen.
I will have to drain the system. I haven't done either of the above..

Anybody know a good plumber from Barry/Cardiff area?

How do you drain the Powermax 155x?

Any help will be appreciated :)

as previous post said drain down using drain cock on rad.
be patient as you will also be draining the heat store in the system.
do the repair, then repressrise the system to 1.5 bar
