My boiler is 7 years old; both in the bath and the shower I have expereienced periods when the water runs cold. It recovers after a minute or so but has been known to repeat the cold spell a couple of times during a shower. B. Gas engineers seem to be at a loss. Has anyone experienced similar?

Nah we are still doing hydroflows, magnacleans too. You can have the pair for 350 notes round here
