Premier 168 software

Hello,

I currently have a texecom premier 168 installed and would like to get a com IP and use the app. It's running version 6 and has 2 NVM chips fitted at the moment, has anyone got a copy of the latest software so I can upgrade it? I have requested the files from Texecom but because the panel is discontinued they don't want to hand them out. Have got my eyes on a premier series flasher online, given that it's an older panel will the com IP and app work with it if the software was to be upgraded? Cheers

I would replace it with an Elite 168 and use a smart com.

Its £200 inc VAT mind, I could be wrong but I am sure that around V7 or 8 there was a hardware change, simple protocol was introduced in V8 according to Wintex, even if you flashed the panel up not convinced its going to work.
