Hi, any help appreciated.
Premier 24 not triggering alarm.
No system faults, have just changed 6 x PIR's for Premier Compact PW PIR'S, all walk test fine, arm the system, get exit timer warning, system arms. Trigger any PIR and system does not alarm.
PIR's Wired as 2 wire N/C.
All bell tests, walk tests, strobe tests etc all pass.
System appears to arm but cannot trigger when setting off PIR's, the red LED on PIR's light up to indicate movement detected but does not trigger alarm.

these are hard wired?
what did you swap them for and why?
how are the zones wired/ programmed?

Hard wired, fitted Compact PW as dog now in house.
6 Zones, each with 1 PIR.
When system armed, panel lid triggers alarm OK but not the PIR's.
No door sensors fitted to system, just 6 PIR's.

enter engineers code, 9 yes, 3 yes

enter zone number of one of the pirs and tell me what it says

Re programming, 4 pir's are Guard mode and 2 are Entry/Exit mode.
All 6 zones report as secure when system armed.

If I monitor Zone 2 and make movement keypad shows active and if Chime is on Panel gives audio advice.

ok so its changing state

menu menu 1, (zone setup?)
go to zone 2, what does it say wiring type is , what area is assigned what is the zone type

Zones 2 and 6 say same as both entry/exit, other 4 show Guard but don't have number 1 at end. Does that answer question.

so entry exit zones wont cause an alarm until the timer has expired.

if the entry has started then this too affect how the alarm activates.

e/e should be for entry doors only on main entry route
guard access should be for hallway PIR covering keypad, or enroute from an e/e zone to a keypad
the rest should be on guard.

in areas set timer for entry delay to the shortest time you can to allow the slowest person to get there comfortably.

Set the Second Entry Delay to 0. (my mistake should not have included delay)
