Cheers, just to let you know spoke to Texecom who told me the 8xp-w that comes with the expansion kit has the same firmware and will work on its own without the ixp-w .

I would check the version you have on the sticker on the 8xpw i dont fit many 8xpw ysually the 32xpw veesion should be 2.1.2 or higher on the 32xpw last one i did with 3.01 panel firmware

Morning, expander is now working with pirs so thanks for that. Gonna look at the speech dialler tonight just not sure what this's all about

wire it straight in from the output

should be okay as is, worst case you invert the output or change the input from -ve to + but at default should work with panel.
