Hi all,

As I have free time at the moment, I'm going to be repainting the bathroom. I have a new tin of Dulux Trade Diamond Matt.

The challenge is the prep..... the walls are nice and smooth, but where they have had condensation on, lots of pet hair has stuck to the wall. I'm not really sure how to remove it as a hoover doesn't seem to lift it - it's a bit stuck on.

Any tips welcome!

Got this done.

Large sanding pad with 120grit attached, quick once over on the wall, all the hair seemed to just disappear!

Bucket of sugar soap and a good rub everywhere with a car washing sponge.

Clean water, clean sponge for a rinse off and then mop up skirting and floor.

Next day 2 coats of paint, and it looks pretty decent, although diamond matt is not very forgiving if your rolling technique isn't perfect!
