preparing concrete floor

I have removed vinyl flooring from a concrete floor,this was stuck with adhesive.Are there any preparations to do before laying ceramic tiles?the concrete is level and sound

What type of adhesive was it, have you removed all traces? What size are your ceramic tiles?

It appears to be some kind of contact adhesive and it is impossible to remove all traces ,it took six hours to remove the vinyl

how much off the contact adhesive is still on the floor?...

25%..50% etc....

if its quite alot then you can do 1 off 2 things...

1...a latex slc over it.

2... a slurry coat (opc and sbr mix...)..

you can wipe it off with any type of gasoline
