Hi

I'm in the process of tanking my basement and wondered what the easiest way to prepare the walls are. at the moment the brickwork has a thin covering of plaster.

I had planned to hire a compressor and scabble the brickwork but wondered if there are other options/methods?

is there an sds maxi attachment that would achieve the same finish?

thanks

Tim

If the plasters old and soft, and you're young and fit, you can get it off very quickly by running round the room with a spade. Use it like an extra-big paint scraper, and try not to stop until you get to a corner. Won't be as dusty and noisy either.
