Price for new oil boiler, good or bad?

Hi

our oil fired boiler has given up the ghost, it had a good life but it's now going to the place dead boilers go.

So I have had a quote for the following.

Take out the old boiler which is in the kitchen under a worktop.
New Firebird CR20
Replace 7 radiator valves with TRV's.
Oil filter.
Fire valve.
System inhibitor.
Fully installed inc VAT £2020.00.

We are in Shropshire if that helps, how is the price?

Considering the plumbcenter price of the boiler is £1700,you can consider the price an absolute bargain......or seriously dodgy!!!....hmm let me guess which you will go with.

Another site...boiler £1400...still an absolute bargain i would say.you checked his qualifications or are you not bothered?

I have checked on the oftec website and he is registered, is that okay?

That's not just cheap, it's giveaway. I don't know how they can be making any money at that level?

did the boiler fall off the back of a lorry at that price it must have done don't think I'd
fit a firebird maybe Worcester
