Prima LPR720 washer drier wont spin

Hi All and a Merry Christmas.
I've done a search and cant find anything. We've got an intregrated Prima LRP720 washer drier, It goes through the normal cycle but the drum doesn't turn, it wont agitate on the wash cycle or spin on the, err spin cycle, I pulled it out yesterday to investigate and looking at it, its designed to be serviced in situe, so the front must come off somehow, there is what seems to be an access panel at the bottom front, but I cant imagine you could do much work from there. You can turn the drum by hand easily, and there is no noise to suggest a bearing fault.
Are they belt driven? I cant see how you could get to the belt, or is it gear driven?
Any experts out there got any suggestions?

Are they not like a Zanussi where the casing splits, is there a joint down the middle of each side?

Yes the casing does split in the middle.
Hmnn motor brushes a bit beyond me, looks like I'll have to get someone out.
