whirlpool washer drier not spinning

Hi. Our whirlpool washer / drier model AWZ 412 has stopped spinning. Have had a quick look but no loose wires etc. Have read that brushes may be worn. Are they inside the motor at the bottom of machine and do I have to remove motor to access them ? Could it be an electrical fault i.e pcb gone ? Belt is ok and belt turns drum by hand and vice versa. Worried I'll have to phone someone out and they'll say '' That'll be £175 to fix sir '' and they take it away and replace the £2 part it might need !!

yes remove the motor ,go to you tube it tells you how to remove brushes and check them .
