printer offline ???

my printer had a job stuck that it would not delete - so went to C/delete print jobs, then went to manage and services and put the spool back on start.

that resolved it

but now it keeps saying printer offline, when you do a right click on the printer the print offline is ticked but it will not untick it ???

The tick usually refers to the Printer being your default. Have you tried to discover it again to see if you're able to find it on your network (or locally attached?)

it is a local printer - but will not go back on line

just keeps saying off line so will not print

Try power cycling the printer

that service pack 3 has alot to answer for, since I downloaded it everyhting has gone to pot...........

Leave printer switched on and restart Computer
