hi, hope someone can help,for the past 2 weeks i havent been able to open up a new window when i minimize the page im on, iis coming up as "internet explorer cannot display this page " every time ,cheers

You've probably got a dead link or bookmark stored as your default address.
In your settings you can specify what address a 'new window' or 'new tab' will automatically load when you create one. So go into your browser's tools/settings and change the field for this to something like 'google.co.uk' or 'blank'.
Let me know what system you are using i.e. PC or Mac, Internet Explorer or Firefox and I'll write specifics for you if above doesn't help.

its still not working mate, i done as you said an put in google an it seemed to work but when ive tried to open new windows its went back to original problem,im using windows xp with internet explorer,cheers

try downloading firefox instead, it's a better browser anyway.
