Hi folks

Just moved into a new house with storage heaters. One of them Creda Model No 79164 doesnt do anything. :_|

The light on the switch doesnt work so replaced the fuse and still no luck. Any suggestions on where to begin to fix this. I've had a look and there is no loose connections.

Its getting cold so any answers would be good

I would suggest posting this in the Electrics forum. Perhaps a mod will look in and move it.

Storage heaters dont usually come on until E7 hours so you won't see the neon come on until the supply becomes active, even still the neon could be duff.
Can be a few different problems, one common problem I have seen on various models is the thermal trip inside needs reset.

Even though you have replaced the fuse, just the neon on the FCU could be faulty so you need to check if power is getting to the heater another way - ideally a multimeter although a neon screwdriver should do (but don't use a neon screwdriver to check for dead)
