Hi

I would be grateful for some advice for a problem that I have. The problem is actually three-fold. I have had some issues with my central heating where the heating would turn on but would not switch off unless you turn off from the mains.

I have now had two new three-way valves fitted and still the same problem. The timer on the programmer no longer seems to work, in the sense that you cannot programme the time at all. Is there any chance this could be causing my heating to not switch off manuallty ?

The other problem I have is that a few times a day I get a loud crackling through the radiators in the flat. This happens when the central heating isn't on. The best way I can describe is that I get the same sound when I turn the programmer off from the mains..

Is there any chance that all I need is a new programmer or could it be a larger problem?

Thanks for your help

Michael

Yuo need to get a good hating service engineer in to have a look
it would be impossible to advise on this one without being on site to see and experience the issues first hand - there could be several smaller problems or one great big one!!
