Hi recently moved into a new home with a Ideal logic coming c30 boiler.
Last night noticed we weren't getting any heat in upstairs radiators.
Builder came in today whilst I was at work and told my wife to drag the lever on the motorised valve labeled 'up' across to manual override from auto.
Problem this evening seems to be reversed. No heat downstairs but upstairs radiators ok. Looked in and the manual override lever is in manual override on one labeled up but on auto on the one labeled down.
Looked up the manual for the motorised valve and it started that it should only be used on auto whilst in operation.
Should either or both be set on manual override?
Thanks
