I’ve a Baxi Solo HE running through 2 honeywell 2 port valves splitting between water and rads on a pressurised system

I’m in process of cleaning the system before refilling will inhibitor, as I have previously.

For the clean through I first set the pump to high speed. Then switched off the boiler and set the valves to MAN OPEN before flushing out.

Having now refilled with flush cleaner, vented all rads switched the pump back to low speed and switched valves back to AUTO, my boiler will not start.

I’m getting a red light and 2 green lights showing. The pump is running. Pressing the reset button turns off the red and the ignition green. Leaving the right green on. After 2/3 minutes the red and the green ignition both relight.

The info on the outer cover indicates that the red is being caused by either NO WATER FLOW or FLOW REVERSED.

This has never happened before when I’ve carried out this maintenance.

Any idea where I’m going wrong?

Many thanks cross thread. From a Ytube site I discovered the need to expell air from the pump. I had initially thought the pump was OK as I could hear it hummimg. I guess the intial lack of flow was preventing the flow switch commissioning. Gives meaning to NO WATER FLOW. Now running fine. Just crossing my fingers that when I drain off the cleaner and refill with inhibitor, all will be well.

Thanks again
