hi all.

my problem is that boiler keeps over pressurising when the heating comes on and alot of water comes out of the overflow.

to stop this i have to drain some water out with the valve but the next time the heating comes on the pressure goes up and the leak starts out of the overflow again and soaks my wall.

any ideas?

right didnt find that before.ive looked at one or two other posts and think it might be the plate heat exchanger.have found a new one on ebay for £48.is this a decent price and how easy would it be too exchange.my boiler pressure is rising even with the heating off and does this sound like the problem to you kev?
cheers :)

1/2 the story again

if pressure is rising without the heating being on as harrogate says plate h/ex is prob the cause

Sorry for butting in on a post, but, am i right in thinking your thinking perferated HE, allowing mains pressure into system, as if loop isolation was passing :?:
